Mini Courses and Workshops

Mini courses and workshops are one-day to two-week sessions of concentrated study in a particular area. They are usually offered during the summer months, but homeschooling families may want to schedule them during the school year.

Mini Courses

1. “Writing a Research Paper: A Step-by-Step Guide for Elementary Students”       1 week, M-F, 2.5 hours a day. Grades 5-8
2. Coming summer 2009 – “The Wonderful World of Greek Mythology”       2 weeks, M-F, 2 hours a day. Grades 5-8

Workshops  

1. “How to Read a Textbook – The SQ3R Method”

2. “The Five-Paragraph Essay”
